In June, the Amaryllis Quartet will publish (under CovielloClassics) the world premiere recordings of four out of the five string quartets by the Hungarian composer and Bartok scholar Geza Frid (1904-1989).

This recording is a live edit of a December 8, 2006, concert  in the Hamburg Laeiszhalle featuring the Estonian pianist Jaan Ots and the Amaryllis Quartet. This musical collaboration began in the "Euro Debut Tour" of the EMCY (European Union of Music Competitions for Youth) from March 2006, and for which Mathis Brun wrote his piano quintet "Poem about S."
